This ep has so much to comment on (btw the sports comment was meant for the previous episode). This time I would like to comment on the brainwave thinger. A more practicle application is being testing right now in Italy for the disabled.

         - "Scientists showed that people could open doors or operate lights, a telephone, a small robot and even a robotic hand by wearing a strip of electrodes on their head to pick up brainwaves that signal "interest" and send them to a computer that interprets them as desired actions."

Those capacitors are so incredibly cool!!!!!!!!!

Anyone know if there have been any consumer applications already implemented? Any idea how expensive this is? I have questions.
I did find this article that's kinda neat and give some info (http://www.greentechmedia.com/articles/ultracapacitors-an-inevitable-component-inside-electric-cars-5517.html) and it guesses that some F-1 cars may be using them by 2010 (I love how much F-1 has done for cars in general). And bombardier is developing them to use on electric buses or subways so that you neither need the crazy wire crap nor electrified tracks. I guess the problem is that it doesn't yet hold as much power as a normal battery and production, at this time, is a bit of a challenge but this stuff is exciting. Good work digging that one up :) Yay future!!!

Progress on the Cop case from oakland.

Not sure if you've updated this already (sorry not quite caught up yet) but this article just came out on the 31st. It's pretty comprehensive and announces that bail has been set for the cop in question at 3 million dollars. Doesn't sound good for this incredibly stupid individual.
